About me

My art photography has derived both from my life-long passion for photography and from my day to day business experience.

Being the owner of a shoe business I put my skills and training as a product photographer to practical use by creating professional images of our shoes.

Always looking for new ways to photograph shoes, I became aware of their intrinsic and timeless design value. I started exploring the architectural character of shoes by abstracting their form from their function and their immediate recognizability as a mere practical object. By analyzing shoes from different angles, by looking only at a detail, I photograph them as an abstract object, emphasizing their form and curves by refined studio lighting.

The result is a collection of abstract images with a strong aesthetic and decorative value, where light, colour and texture are crucial elements.
